Now this is a fun gift for a child of any age. For a baby shower gift, you could design a monster with the baby's initial (if you know it) or just a heart on the belly. There are so many variations that this bright colored custom creation is sure to be a hit with the child and the guests at the baby shower.
Personalized gifts are especially well-received. They usually require more thought and planning than going to your local big-box store and often reflect the personality of the recipient.
With CurlyQ Cuties, you can make a monster that is "girly" or scary, boyish or silly in just a matter of minutes. Each monster measures approximately 12 inches high by 9 inches wide.
CurlyQ Cuties was started in early 2008 by mompreneur Stephanie Estrin. After searching for safe and locally made toys to encourage imaginative play in
her own children, Stephanie experimented with making plush Monsters from her children's descriptions and drawings. Stephanie's children liked their Monsters so much that Stephanie decided to make them available to others. Initially through Etsy and then, as demand grew, she launched the CurlyQ Cuties website to make it easy to design your own plush Monster toy.
All plush monsters are washable and made of anti-pill fleece filled with hypo-allergenic polyfil. Parts of the product's eyes and teeth are made from felt. All material and fill is 100% new polyester and handcrafted in Cedar Park, a suburb of Austin, Texas. If you want to help raise money for the March of Dimes in Honor of Madeline Alice Spohr, consider purchasing Maddie’s Monster (seen on right) and CurlyQ Cuties will donate a portion of the sale to the March of Dimes.
